How? The quality of the materials used is essential. For years Inverness personnel have studied worldwide health trends, consumer preferences and comfort. We have noted a rising trend of "metal allergy" from various types of earrings. Some people report feeling discomfort after wearing piercing earrings for awhile.

We believe a significant cause is the Nickel content in various metals. Surgical Grade Stainless Steel averages between 8 & 12% Nickel content.

Our Carat Gold products have a very low Nickel content - less than 0.05%. We meet and exceed current UK Nickel content.

Our Medical Grade Titanium earrings are guaranteed Nickel Free! These earrings provide the maximum safety and wearer comfort.

Our "High Tech" alloy, Steralloy™ is plated with Palladium to provide the wearer with the Sterling Silver look without the Nickel content of Stainless Steel.

Our "New" 24ct Gold Plate line utilises Steralloy™ as the "base" metal for user comfort and safety.

Further to these advancements in safety and technology, Inverness personnel have developed and patented our "Unique Safety Clutch". A truly non-adjustable clutch, providing the proper amount of space between the ear and the earring. This design provides maximum comfort and protects the wearer from the end of the piercing post.

In addition to developing an entire product range of Nickel free and Nickel compliant (based on UK standards of less than 0.05% content) piercing earrings, Inverness developed our own Ear Care Antiseptic. This registered topical antiseptic is specially formulated by Inverness to ensure the best aftercare possible. Safe, gentle and easy to use, with a tamper resistent safety seal for guaranteed results.
